music video filming blog

Hello my name is pascal bazile and this is my current filming blog this will be a rundown of the entire process of filming that i needed to got through so i could be able to make this video somewhat presentable. I was finally able to finish the filming blog today and it sucked having to film for many different reasons that i will need to elaborate to everyone who is currently reading this blog so we should start at the beginning. The racetrack so much paper that i needed to use and so much paper that i could have used for math was wasted i don't know the exact number but it is at least more then 50 paper that i used i also used up almost all of the coloring materials that i had to make the arrows. Also I'm sorry but i had to get rid of the audience because when filming i failed a few times because the audience took so much space that i was not able to film it properly so i got rid of the audience altogether as well as the fact that it all looked wired. The first part of filming was very easy just a 5 second 360 view of the vehicle that i will be using for my racing themed music video its a older type car but i chose it because it is easy to recognize even when i am using a red car on red arrows. But surprisingly i still failed to do this right mainly because i do not know the best way to show the car on the flor or the paper what could make the car look presentable so i chose to do it on my wooden table. I fell like because it has the model of an older type  car putting it on wood would work the best so i changed that making the music video begin like one of those old product showcasing channels looks like it would be a good contrast to the music that is upbeat and happy. I lit up the light and then filmed my car at the beginning of the black and white checkered starting line but i was trying to film it in a way that i could not be seen  i tried to make it sure that the rod that i was using could not be seen but i was not able to do that. Another thing i changed was that i could not use actual physical obstacles because my mom had to clean the room and got rid of the water bottles and water bottle caps that i saved after my water bottle commercial so i had to do something else. I just drew the obstacles on the race track and had the car not move on them and i also used some water bottles as traps to i can get whole running through the traps part of my storyboard fulfilled that was the best way i could follow the storyboard. My car was hard to move because it was not able to actually turn it so i just added a mini jump boost power up so i could be able to move it in the beginning and so i could also turn to hit the bomb and to go back to the beginning. That was a great idea so i can get through the physical restrictions that the car presented me but i believe  that it does not matter to much and that this little change might not cause me to lose some points hopefully. Filming the bomb turn was painful before i added that little jump boost power up i wanted to turn it right and edit it so it looks lit it turned but i did not have time i had to wait for days for mom to clean and for me to be able to do the work. So i could not just stay doing that over and over again so improvising was the best thing for me to do and i think that it worked well but then again i am not fully sure if i will be able to get full points because i was not able to follow the storyboard 100%.After that i needed to go back to the start of my race trach so i needed to make some more drawn obstacles so i can move over them in a fast way to signify that the driver is angry doing that was not exactly easy more drawing was a lot more painful. My next problem was obviously needing to move through the half papers and i needed to only use two different paths for the obstacle and not three so i was able to save up on a lot more paper then i was going to use. But then again i already drew the third route so i basically wasted a lot of paper that i could have used so making that change so i could film better was painful for someone who just wants to save as much money as possible. And then i needed to film the final obstacle that i could not do because my mom was cleaning there so i had to wait for a few hours to deconstruct my entire obstacles and for me to redo the final lap all over again. I was able to do the final lap successfully because it was just filled with the car jumping over a bunch of messed up paper and that was it and then the final jump was very easy to color and do so that was the end of my project. I'm glad that i was able to complete this project but i hope that my changes are not going to cause a problem for me when I'm getting graded but anyway this is it have a good day.
