filming and editing: getting a mask and filming some scenes

Hello there, my name is pascal bazile and I will be telling you the story of what I have been doing during the time that I was not discussing my project to you the current reader. This blog will show that I made a lot of progress during the past few days and right now I will do my best to share that progress with you at this current moment so here is what I did. So, to start in my old blog it discussed the idea that I was not able to get a good mask for my sister when me and my family went shopping around so I ended the entire blog at that moment. Now then me and my family went back to those stores hoping we just missed them we went back at Saturday and then came hope thanks to none of them having any, so we decided to do some online shopping for the mask. My sister was able to buy one of those them from amazon we where able to get a ski mask that was able to fit my sisters head. We then did some small things so we could make sure that her eyes will be seeable through the mask to replicate that bank robber theme it would also work well with the whole killer theme. With that we were able to get enough equipment to so some of the scenes, so I now begin to film some of the scenes specifically scene 7 and 8 those being important scenes. Scene 7 and 8 is the scene in where camera angles will be very important because I will need to make sure my phone camera can tilt in that direction in a way that can get my face and show the ThinkPad logo. I also spent my time redoing some filming the scene in where the killer’s victim looked at the doorknob making it a lot shakier so it can have a much better effect to add some suspense. And then I filmed the final part of the two-minute sequence before the credits in where we see the killer move so the killer could be able to stab the actor that is meant to be the victim. In my original storyboard for this scene I wanted the victim to be pretend stabbed to show that this movie was rated r but, in the end, I did not want to go through the trouble of getting the blood and the preparations. We tried to find out what areas would be the best areas so I could find out what place I could find a fake knife and fake blood but there was no area near my house so with that I improvised. So, I decided to make it a scene that will not show the victim being killed you know to make it a cutaway shot and then make it go black and straight to the credits but there were problems. One it took a very long time to do thanks to the fact that the atmosphere was getting bad because it was almost morning and the fact that I did not have enough sleep because I needed to finish some homework. So, while I still had time to film on Saturday, I tried to film the entire bad guy staring at protagonist from the window scene I thought that I had it under control for the most part. It was hard to communicate because we were both in different locations, so it was hard to film the process mainly because I use my new phone to film, so I had to multitask with my phones. Having to call my sister to tell her where she should move was very difficult not to mention the singular fact that she had to stay outside in the hot sun while I needed to film her standing there made everything unnecessarily harder.  In the end I tried my hardest to film but I could not so I waited until Sunday to finish my filming I also did my best to stay up if possible so I could wake up at the right time. It was a long process and with I was able to finish the filming for scene 7 and 8 at 5 am in the morning it was a giant pain to do but I at least finished what I wanted to finish. That is all that I will need to talk to you about I made a lot of progress today and I wish that you enjoyed reading I wish you a good day and good luck with all your future endeavors.
