filming and planning blog: 70% done

 

Hello, my name is pascal bazile I am currently in my last week to complete my assignment, so I decided to hurry up with my filming as well as my editing and I think that I have done well enough to get a lot done. I was able to do things that will get me a lot of progress I only need to film some more scenes and then I will need to edit in some music during some scenes to be done. I started by filming the scenes that where the least important the one in where I would film the food that I made after microwaving it and a scene in where my killer holds his knife waiting to strike. I was able to store some of my new scenes to make them have more of my credits I had some more free space to add credits so that is what I was able to do in the end. I was able to also film the shots in where the victim sees his opened computer and walks towards it as well you know all the easy to do shots in my blog. It was hard to do and I did not exactly get all of those shots in but in the end I was able to do everything that I would need to right now anyway. There was a difficult shot to do in where my character goes outside to go down to the bus stop and then goes to the stairs to go down as well it was difficult to film the thing. The reasons because of how dark it was thanks to the fact that it was the early morning and even if there was sunlight it was not that much so that was a big difficulty. There was also the fact that it was difficult to move the phone camera so it could get my entire body into the frames it was even more difficult when making my tracking shot I will try to redo it as much as I can to make it look the best. And the final reason was that I was not able to do anything on Saturday because of how I had to go somewhere else because of my sister and in the end, I needed to wait until Sunday or well today. But then came the much more difficult parts the ones involving my killer in where she should be seen in them in going to only have a short time to film all the scenes. The easiest scene to do was the one storyboard in where my sister was reflecting in the mirror wearing her mask while watching me and filming me as well, I think that is a good creepy scene. I am also trying to make sure that it is creepy so when I am going to edit the film, I am going to give it a little filter so that I could make the camera different from my regular. When editing I wanted to give all my scenes a little filter to make all of them look scarier or at least make them all look darker doing that would be beneficial in getting my theme across. Thing is that there is no actual filter that I think would give that felling the closest would be the dark blue king of filter but the problem with that was that it would not work with my already dark environment in the end I quit the idea.  It would have been so great if I could find a filter that would work best with my horror theme but in the end, I think it works for the better for my movie opening.  So with all of that being said the final thing I want to tell you today was that I was abler to get my mom to let someone look  at my old computer sad  being that it would take a year for anyone to actually fix it. But in the end, I told them that it was not needed for the project right now and they where ecstatic to say the least because they did not need to pay money to fix it now. So, thanks to all of that I was able to make a lot of progress I only need to get some small things done and to film my sister being the killer and, in the end, I will finally be done.
