Critical Reflection Questions

my product being water bottles and my commercial unfortunately did not use many conventions the closes convention that i used was the water bottle being wet convention that is a convection that i personally found to be very common especially when used for more extreme type of commercials. another convection i used was when i rose up to showcase my water bottle something that i see used in a lot of liquid based commercials where the camera either goes up or down to show how great or how much better this bottle of water is. another is how my water bottle went down it is ether floated down or slammed down in other types of commercials both being used to create and give certain emotions to the audience member. personally i enjoy it more when it is slammed down but i just put mine down regularly if only i had something to station my camera then i could have been able to make it float down man was i unlucky. the social issue this commercial represents is how humanity is settling for unclean, mediocre water the type that is only found to be trash the type that is less superior to the water I'm advertising. that is why the water in my commercial is falling down fast like rain while also being label less to show its insignificance compared to my fresh ,clean, and overall more beneficial source of water. with that i was able to put as many conventions and social commentary as i could in about 30 seconds i wish i could have done better but its fine i was able to still get this project completed.

the way i wanted my product to engage with my audience wad for it to at least make them fell some sort of emotion while watching it that was the purpose of the entire commercial but i messed it up thanks to putting my phone camera to low to the ground. currently the only emotion that could be felt is one that makes them know this was a project that was very amateurish one that was done by someone who has never done camera work as well as good directing or audio editing. thanks to me and my mothers voices being heard it mostly helps with the whole amateurish nature of the entire project one that was unintentional but hay it was my first project with a massive bit of computer trouble so yea that was very unfortunate. But i sucked it up and completed it and while i did not get the emotions i wanted to fell from seeing it it was fine nonetheless and i was able to put it onto youtube for my teachers to see and review even if it was not perfect. i wanted to create an atmosphere where the viewer can see my water bottle as superior and i guess i got what i wanted at the last 5 seconds but it felt so empty i wish i didn't get water on my computer but at least i still got it done.

improvement stills that i got was probably learning how to do better lighting even if you cant see that with my project but with that i was able to at lease try to make my dark setup brighter i was not getting the effect i needed . it was mainly because my mom was on the right side in the video pouring down the bottles instead of the side i asked her to so there is that i lost the effect of water bottles coming from the sky  and not just being poured down like water because the lighting and camera positioning made it hard to see. i did improve in camerawork because of my many attempts i became less shaky and learned to focus more on where i wanted my audience to see and i believe i did i fine job with that when i was showing off the water bottle in the dark and light areas. my editing is similar to now just a little bit more experience with experimenting with shades in a way that you can see how the phone lighting in my video changed to become lighter after the other phone light shone blue. i still need to deal with my problem of camera placement but in the end i was still able to pump out a product as well as being able to improve thanks to my many many many failures and i am grateful for that.

and for the technology i integrated in this work i used my computer to mainly write the blogs as well as to be able to edit the entire thing down into 30 seconds it was not much and i was able to do it easily without downloading any editing apps. now the next thing i used was my phone after the whole broken computer thing i learned that using my phone was overall better for me and thanks to that i was able to film everything that i needed to film and get it done to edit on my computer. I'm not exactly know for using software or hardware i don't even know what those mean but i was still able to effectively use technology in this project thanks for reading  my final blog for this project and i hope i can do better on the next one have a good day.
